What we set up
Birthdays
A hoop of balloons around a neon word, marquee letters beside it, and the floor filled in so the wall reads from across the room.
First birthdays
Standing letters as tall as the child, a lit backdrop behind them and balloons banked along the floor.
Anniversaries
The number goes up in bulbs next to the ring — twenty-five, thirty, whichever one it is — against balloons or a shimmer panel.
Engagements
A flower hoop, a sheer drape with fairy lights behind it, one chair, and rose petals laid on the floor in front.
Entrances and walkways
Drapes and hangings at the door, flower arches along the path, and the aisle dressed all the way to the room.
Garden and terrace evenings
Fairy lights strung between the trees, balloons across the grass and one table lit under an umbrella.
Office and farewell parties
Balloon columns down both sides, a printed board on the back wall and lights along the front of the stage.
